How pricing works
No prices on this page. Each job is different, so the plumber writes the price after seeing the break.
What decides the price
The plumber tells you which of these apply to your job.
What failed, and how much pipe is involved
Whether a wall, ceiling or floor has to be opened to reach it
Pipe age and material
Parts on the van or parts we have to order
The hour of the call
What the written price includes, and what it doesn’t
Labor, parts, and a permit when the city requires one. We clean up our own work.
Not included: patching drywall, paint, flooring or finishes after we open a wall
Not included: drying, removing wet materials or mold work, which a restoration company does
What happens at the visit
The plumber stops the water, finds the cause and explains your options. A visit fee covers the trip and the diagnosis. If you approve the repair that day, it is credited to the job.
After hours
Yes, nights cost more. Between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m., and all day on weekends and holidays, an after-hours rate applies. The dispatcher tells you what it is on the phone, before a van leaves, and you can say no.
When you get the number
In writing, by text or email, after the plumber has seen the break and before any repair starts. The paperwork for your insurer comes when the work is done.
Short answers about money
Do nights and weekends cost more?
Yes. Between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m., and all day on weekends and holidays, an after-hours rate applies. The dispatcher tells you what it is before a van leaves, and you can say no.
Will I get a price before you start?
Yes. The plumber writes the price down and texts or emails it to you. Work starts when you say yes.
Do you bill my insurer?
Ask your adjuster how payment works on your claim. We send the invoice to you either way, and we can send a copy to the adjuster too.
Do you pull permits?
When the city or township requires one for the repair, we pull it and the written price lists it.
Want the number now?
